Today I wanted to share how to achieve small but open spaces by using your room's layout wisely and choosing the correct furniture. Using loveseat instead of couches can open up spaces at the bottom, so it won't give you the feeling of space being too tight. Adopt large houseplants to make your space look big! Plain rugs without designs actually make your small living spaces appear more wide open, because there's less visual noise. Or you can go colorful with your rug and have a basic coffee table to visually balance things out. Just like the above setting, a basic couch + unique cushions , or vise versa, will make things work. Today, I'm sharing my 1-IN-1-OUT for Aug '22. For the past 2 years, I was a "uniform-minimalist." All of my tops were mostly white/beige, little to no design, and pants/trousers are navy blue / black. It was so simple, easy, and convenient. I didn't mind wearing the "same thing", in fact, each piece was slightly different, just that only I could tell the difference, lol.  Recently I went on an RV trip with my family in Cape Cod, MA, and got inspired by all the colorful and vintage themed signs / setups that came across my eyes.
