Good day! Welcome to a brand new day of homemaking inspirations!

Today I wanted to share how to achieve small but open spaces by using your room's layout wisely and choosing the correct furniture.

Using loveseat instead of couches can open up spaces at the bottom, so it won't give you the feeling of space being too tight.

Adopt large houseplants to make your space look big!

Plain rugs without designs actually make your small living spaces appear more wide open, because there's less visual noise.

Or you can go colorful with your rug and have a basic coffee table to visually balance things out.

Just like the above setting, a basic couch + unique cushions, or vise versa, will make things work.

This is a very smart lay out. The dining table is very proportionate with the space.
Choosing a rectangular shape works much better than an oval one in this case.

Bar hanging lights for streamlined appearance.

Brightens up the room very elegantly!

Add a small telescope as a decor or star watching!

Multiple-tiered basket organizer with wheels is your best friend : )

Small space? Worry not! Enjoy holiday decor to the fullest!

Generally wooden furniture feels more comforting than other materials, because humans have lived in nature more than buildings in the history.

The good thing about small rugs is that you can go for different designs depending on the season.

Unifying the interior tone is can reduce visual noise, to give you a peaceful environment.

The color brown is such a balanced color, as it's doesn't make your small space look too dark, and stains aren't as noticeable, and it's easy to pair with any decor or accepts around home.

If your room has no windows, then adding a landscape wall decal is a great idea.

Fun homemaking tip: Turn your rectangle table 90 degrees to create a whole different feel of your space!

Add a clear desk protector if you have kids or pets : )

Use industrial shelves to customize your space!

These types of woven baskets are always storage unit lover's best friends, because with or without things in it, it's a piece of art from the outside!

Keeping just the seasonal shoes on your shoe rack creates a simpler look and makes tidying up easier.

Another tip of the day: Place shoes with toe sides facing outside, for better appearance and good luck!

Multi-tiered baskets work great for small spaces!
They replace permanent / heavy storage units and you don't need to keep pulling out cabinet doors / drawers to find your stuff.

Use unfinished wood boards and turn your spaces into shelves, this is neat!

Did you find some nice inspirations from these pictures? : )
