In part 1, I shared my very first version of office work capsule wardrobe which I created around 2019.
Wardrobe π· 1: The Introduction
As time went by and my body shape changed from doing intermittent fasting and workouts, I needed to update my work clothes as well.
For this wardrobe update, I also changed the style from a set that was subtly colorful to B&W (black and white).
There were 2 main reasons I decided to go for a new B&W selection:
1. A coworker in my office always wore black clothes, and that, I felt, always have her a definition, she appeared very confident all the time.
One time I told her I loved her simplicity, she said yes, it just makes decision making easier and she can simply focus on her work (which explains her confidence).
2. It was also around this time, that I discovered Marie Kondo's Life-changing magic of tidying up, as well as minimalism and the concepts struck me like a lightning. I was enlightened and awakened. I feel in love with the aesthetics of the unified looks of home setups and wardrobes. From there, looked up at lots of inspirations. Many minimalist wardrobes are just so pleasing to the eyes, I just had to give it a try.

I actually also had a set of monochrome clothes (read more here: Wardrobe π· 2: Comfy Capsule) so going from colors to B&W was relatively easy, and more than anything, exciting.
So here it is, my work wardrobe in B&W..!
12 pieces of tops x 4 pairs of pants will give me 48 ways to pair, x5 pairs of pants then 60 ways to pair.
Whichever way I pair, they'll always come out sophisticated and timeless.

And here are some outfit ideas.
As Leonardo da Vinci realized centuries ago, "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication," this couldn't have been more true..!
At this point, I was completely blown by the ease of coordinating daily outfits, and the elegance of the monochromatic scheme, and I have a feeling it'd be hard for me to go back to colors, at least for the next few months or years.
I'll be sharing pictures of me actually wearing the outfits in the near future.
Stay tuned!
