My bathroom, for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children), is relatively tiny.
We have ZERO counter space.
I know, there must be a million questions: "Where do I place the tooth brushes?" "Where do the make up items go?" "The lotions?" "Razors, shaving cream and stuff?"
I'll answer one category at a time, because that's the easiest approach for me and you.
In this article, I'll share my space saving invention for tooth brushes, toothpaste, and any light weight bathroom items that can be hung on hooks.
Here's all the flat surface in our bathroom, practically ZERO space, right?
I love adhesive hooks, because they're aesthetic and durable (holds 10+ lbs according to description, but I'd stop at 5lb just to be safe).
2pc of these cable ties are used per tooth brush, 1pc to go around the handle (for the type without the hole), and another to be looped on the1st pc, so the toothbrush can be hung on the hook.
VOILA!
The same principle can be applied to other items such as the tooth paste, combs, and anything else lightweight.
If an item already has a hole (like below), then that makes it even easier, no cable ties needed!
This is a coconut conditioning comb that smoothly comb my hair, it works really great!
Yes, I do need to repeat the process when it's time to replace the toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc, but it only happens once in a while, and the space saving result is so satisfying that this has now become a normal process to me.
No, hanging these items will not cause water to drip, so long you shake / clean your items well after usage. This will also prevent mold to build up as in placing them in a cup or on a surface.
